ZONING COMMISSION - Next Appointment 12/31/07 Term 5 Year

The Zoning Commission (ZC) meets the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Sylvania Township Hall. Meetings are open to the Public. This Board is responsible for reviewing applications for zone changes and amendments to the Zoning Resolution. Recommendations are forwarded to the Board of Trustees for final approval. BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS - Next Appointment 12/31/07 Term 5 Year

The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) reviews applications for variances and/or exceptional use. Meetings are held at Sylvania Township Hall on the 1st Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. and are open to the Public. (see township website to review meeting minutes)

SYLVANIA AREA JOINT RECREATION DISTRICT - Next Appointment 12/31/07 Term 3 Year

The Sylvania Area Joint Recreation District (SAJRD) mission is to provide high quality recreation through sound planning, efficient allocation of resources, and effective management. The District is a collaboration between Sylvania Township, City of Sylvania, and Sylvania Schools. The Board meets

WATER & SEWER DISTRICT - Appointment NOW OPEN Term 3 Year

The Water & Sewer District Board meets at Sylvania Township Hall on an “as needed” basis. (usually quarterly) The Board reviews financial reports and oversees water line or sewer line project for the Township.
