As Public Works Manager for the Township he manages the activities of maintenance and improvements for the Road Department, Cemetery, and Fleet Maintenance. Previously Greg worked for the City of Sylvania, Street Department and the Ohio Department of Transportation as a Project Inspector, Office Manager, and Equipment operator.
Greg is a graduate of the University of Toledo, Engineering College, Bachelor Degree - Construction Engineering, December 1998.
Greg is an active member in the Ohio Army National Guard since January 2, 1980. Greg serves as a Sergeant Major, 27 years with the 16th Engineer Brigade, and currnetly assigned to Ohio Joint Force Headquarters, J1-Equal Opportunity Team. Greg deployed to Afghanistan September 2003 to June 2004 in Operation Enduring Freedom, and performed engineering service in many areas such as Assadabad, Bagram, Gardez, Kabul, Kandahor, Khowst, and Forward Operation Base Salerno. He currently serves on the following Committees: Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG), Access Management Advisory Committee, Storm Water Coalition, Floodplain Management, The Olander Park Oversight Committee, and Lucas County - Township Road Department Association.

Road/Service Department Personnel
The Road Department consists of: Public Works Manager, 2 Road Foremen, 9 Utility Workers and 1 Building Maintenance person. In addition, we employ 8 part-time employees throughout the year. The Service Department employs 4 full time mechanics and provides fleet maintenance for Road, Police, and Fire Departments.
Equipment
The Road Department has a 70 piece fleet inventory that includes 8 heavy duty dump trucks, 4 light duty dump trucks, 7 leaf loaders, 2 backhoe tractors and numerous other pieces of equipment.
